Director and owner, Mel Giuliano, having completed his studies in 2006, he worked for a volume residential builder and civil engineer, before opening up CA Building Design in late 2008 , which became Creative Arch. Our story spans through 4 generations of construction industry experience. Mel was destined to end up in the industry as his entire life was spent on his fathers building sites and watching his dad design on the drafting board.

This gives you total control in who you choose for the construction of the project. At Creative Arch we understand the real cost of construction. Clients sometimes spend up to 10% of the construction price for design & documentation only to realise they cannot fund the build itself. Having project management and cost estimation skills, we know what building a project can cost and will be up front with you in relation to your budget. There is no point selling a dream that cannot become reality.

Town planning permits or more known simply as planning permits, can be required for a number of reasons. Once we have your property details, we check the planning maps portal online to see what zones, overlays, local plannning policies etc. are affecting your property. Once we investigate this, we can determine whether a planning permit is required for the property.

We provide a turnkey town planning service & manage applications throughout Melbourne and Victoria. We prepare our own custom plans to suit your property, rescode reports, sustainability reports, STORM ratings and landscape plans. Furthermore, we manage the whole process and engage all the relevant consultants that are required for your approval.

Building permits are required for the vast majority of construction works. A building permit is required legally and also to ensure your project is inspected along the way to give you peace of mind that it is being built correctly and to any relevant codes and standards. A Building Surveyor is responsible for issuing a building permit once all the relevant plans and documentation are submitted and considered suitable for construction to begin.

Yes! Our main role along with designing your project is manage the process with your relevant building surveyor. It is often easier and less complicated if we undertake this role for you.

Yes, we manage the entire documentation process from the first design brief consult to obtaining a building permit. We work closely with our partners who are structural engineers, energy assessors, land surveyors, geotechnical engineers.... And so on. This makes the process more streamlined and accurate.

We provide a full interior design service and 3D rendering service. Using comprehensive finish schedules, interior elevations, joinery detailing etc. Who better to work on the inside of your project other than the designers who are creating the vision and know the plans inside and out.
